I am glad that I only borrowed this book. Some of the suggestions are ridiculous and the information about medical school is simply incorrect. There are good guides to study out there. There does exist in this book occasional good advice but do not waste good money on that account.
This book contains some very good tips. There were a few new techniques mentioned that I never thought of before.
The information supplied in this book is invaluable in terms of how to prep, study and plan for tests and surprise quizzes. This practical resource, although created for the university level can be used for the high school level also. From assisting to help in independent study to group study, this guide is a must for all students, even those in medical school. (It has a section on how to read technical journals!)
This book by Dr. Bloch truly needs to be apart of all first-year courses.
For $4.49 though? I can't even deal with this!
